Marvel and Sony are in terms with The Spiderman. But it seems that Sony demands their own universe of Marvel. VENOM is where it begins. The movie starring Tom Hardy, AKA Eddie Brock, is the initial step in that direction. It is uncertain if the Spidey's greatest adversary can work without him. But as per the recent rumors, Tom Holland might turn up in Venom after all.
